In the 1990's I moved to Washington, D.C., to try the political approach to environmental progress. Working just 4 blocks from the U.S. Capitol Building, day to day I faced what seemed to be the U.S. Government's resistance to environmental progress. Over time, I discovered new, unconventional approaches and tested many experimental methods that, quite counter to the conventional environmental wisdom of the day, proved capable of achieving astounding results with a minimum of effort.
Based on these experiments, I founded EcoSector to help raise environmental progress to a whole new level, to address our eco-challenges at a rate and scale appropriate to the times.
Today, these lessons and novel approaches to leadership are available via customized, experiential training programs.
